At the moment, I have published print work in over 20 BattleTech game products (including one solo work, The Wars of Reaving) and have published two solo PDF projects. I am also the product manager of the Turning Points PDF line, which has currently published over 12 different game resources.
Currently, I’m juggling three major book commitments to Catalyst and am in the process of writing a non-fiction book on the culture of gaming; the book is estimated to be published in November 2012 July 2013.
At ADEA (my last full-time position), I was the Publications Manager and oversaw 10 different conference and meetings publications and associated collateral on a yearly basis. I was also the managing editor/head writer of the Association’s monthly Bulletin of Dental Education Online, and the staff editor for the organization’s Washington Update and ExploreHealthCareers site newsletter.
And if that’s not enough, I also write (for free!) exhibition and sport reviews for WeLoveDC, a site of which I helped co-found and work as an Editor-at-Large. My topics usually cover various exhibits, programs, and interviews from National Geographic and the Smithsonian’s American Art Museum and the National Museum of the American Indian. I also write game recaps of the Washington Capitals’ away contests, as well as other Caps team news. Previously, I’ve written articles on DC transportation issues and light commentary on tourism in the region.
You can find my complete work profile on LinkedIn, including a comprehensive list of my for-print publications, as well as my complete work history from 1989 onwards. My colorful background includes adventures in retail management, radio broadcasting, and other project- and team-oriented experiences.
I’m sure you’ve been bugged about this enough, but I have never read any clear answers and it has been two years.
How far into the War of Reaving plot line are you? How involved will you be in it? Are there any tentative release dates?
Thank you in advance.
I’ve outlined and fleshed out the WoR plot from start to finish. There are no release dates because there are currently no plans to do any product around that plot, other than small mentions and hints in the current plot books.
Currently no plans for a product!?!?! Booo. Man I hope that changes, knowing you it would be an interesting read, even if the result wasn’t what I hoped for.
I have purchased every one of those books except TO and HS:3076, which I’ll order the next chance I get. Well, I don’t plan to get Blake Ascending because it’s essentially a reprint.
Could you make War of Reaving a PDF only product?
